High School Football Awards - Week 4

The dust has settled from week four of the high school football season; and after a action-packed Friday night of football, the awards are in:


KFC-Pigskin Roundup Team of the Week: Ohatchee Indians
The Indians went on the road to Rainbow City and beat Westbrook Christian 37-30 in a big region matchup. The Indians are 4-0 overall and 3-0 in Class 2A Region 6. For their big win, the entire team and coaching staff will get the famous team of the week meal from KFC as well as the team of the week t-shirts on Thursday. 


Wiseguys Pizza Player of the Week: Domonique Thomas, Ohatchee RB 
The junior running back had 246 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns. He recorded 130 yards on the ground on 14 carries and added 29 yards on a pass reception. Thomas also came up big in the special teams with an 87 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. As the Player of the Week, Thomas will receive a free large pizza from Wiseguys Pizza.
