Coffee with a Cop Day in Oxford

The Oxford Police Department would like to invite the community out to enjoy a cup of coffee with officers. Having a Coffee with a Cop helps remove the physical barriers and crisis situations that routinely define interactions between law enforcement officials and community members. Instead it allows for relaxed, informal one on one interactions in a friendly atmosphere. Residents are also encouraged to share local concerns they might have within their neighborhoods and more.

Coffee with a Cop has done wonders for community trust, police legitimacy and partnership building. Coffee with a Cop will take place September 27th at the Dunkin' Donuts near the Oxford Exchange from 9:30 until 11am. Oxford Police Chief Bill Partridge says officers want to interact with people and find ways to better serve the community.
