Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Recall

If you are a lover of Macadamia’s, you may want to check your pantry. There is a recall you need to be informed about. The Hawaiian brand Mauna Loa is voluntarily recalling its popular macadamia nuts over possible E-coli contamination. E-coli was found in drinking water in Hawaii which could have been used at the facility. Health officials have closed the facility as they continue to investigate.

All nuts produced and packaged from September 6th to the 21st are affected. So far, Mauna Loa has not received any reports of anyone getting sick. Although this is a precaution recall, if you have any Macadamia products produced by this brand during the month of September, do not eat them.
