McDonald's Removing Artificial Ingredients


One of the world’s largest fast food chains will be removing ingredients from its burgers. Even the sauce on a popular burger is getting changes. Artificial flavors, coloring, and preservatives from McDonald’s burgers will be removed in an effort to try and attract more health conscious consumers. The popular Big Mac special sauce will even undergo a change of ingredients.

In 2016, the fast food chain removed artificial preservatives from its chicken nuggets along with the high fructose corn syrup in its buns. McDonald’s also switched its frozen beef with fresh beef earlier this year for its quarter pounders. The global chain has not yet decided on whether to remove the artificial preservatives inside their pickles.
