A routine 911 call ends in a police and deputies car chase. According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Tigue led Jacksonville police and Calhoun County deputies on a chase down highway 21 until he crashed on Anniston Beach Road. The chase began when a Pleasant Valley woman called police stating a suspicious man drove up her driveway as she was leaving her home.
Sheriff Wade also says Tigue reached a speed of up to 110 mph. When deputies detained Tigue and searched his vehicle, they found items from what are believed to be from multiple burglaries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident. So far, Tigue is being charged with Attempting to Elude and Reckless Endangerment. Tigue is currently being held in the Calhoun County Jail.
