Law Enforcement Memorial Fundraiser Roadblock

This Saturday, beginning at 8am until noon, will be a fundraiser geared towards the Etowah County Law Enforcement Memorial. The Etowah County Law Enforcement Memorial currently sits on the grounds at the Etowah County Courthouse and contains the names of law enforcement officers from Etowah County killed in the line of duty. Proceeds from the fundraiser are used to help law enforcement officers who are sick or injured, out of work and in need of support from their law enforcement family.

The memorial fund also assists families of officers killed in the line of duty and pay for an officer to attend the national candlelight vigil held each year in Washington, D.C. The roadblock locations are shown above. Anyone wishing to donate to the memorial fund can also mail it to the Etowah County Law Enforcement Memorial at 128 South Eighth Street.
