No. 1 Saks Ready For No. 3 Randolph County

For the second time in three weeks and the third time this season, the Saks Wildcats will put their undefeated record on the line against a top five team in Class 3A. The top-ranked Wildcats will host Randolph County on Friday night with a share of first-place in the region up for grabs. Saks enters the game with a lot of confidence despite key losses to injury. The Wildcats had to replace starting quarterback Roilan Torres after the junior went down with an ACL tear in the Piedmont game. Fellow junior Daveon Dukes has filled in nicely and helped lead the Wildcats to wins over the Bulldogs and Weaver. The Tigers are 5-1 and have dealt with injuries as well. Starting running back Aaron Knight went down with an injury early in the season, but, like Saks, Randolph County has bounced back with a 6-1 start (4-1 Region) and the Tigers are riding a four game winning streak.
