Piedmont Man Charged with Lawn Equipment Theft

Police believe they are a step closer to closing the theft case with the arrest of a Piedmont man. Timmy Freeman was arrested and charged with first degree theft of property in connection with $26,000 worth of lawn equipment that was stolen from a home.

The equipment has since been recovered. Freeman is currently being held at the Piedmont Jail on a $15,000 bond and has a preliminary court date set for November 26th.
