Taquitos Contamination Recall
Check your freezer for Ruiz foods Taquitos, they’re being recalled because of a possible salmonella and listeria contamination. The recall affects more than two million pounds of taquitos produced from July first through October 10th. There have been no known illnesses reported retaining to this product.
Symptoms of salmonella include abdominal cramps, fever, and diarrhea while listeria infections also cause fevers and diarrhea along with muscle aches and confusion. According to the United States Drug Administration, if you have these taquitos in your freezer, throw them away or return to the store of purchase.
