Cherokee County Man Charged with Drug Possession

A Cherokee County resident is currently behind bars in Georgia for multiple charges including possession. According to Floyd County Jail records, Roscoe Covington of Centre, ran from officers while possessing glass pipes that possibly contained meth residue before throwing them to the ground, shattering one of them.

 

Covington was caught and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Tampering with Evidence, and Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers.
