Calhoun County Commission Meeting is Final for Don Hudson

The Calhoun County Commission meeting was a special one for Don Hudson as it was his last meeting as a commissioner. For six year, Don Hudson represented the people in district three, which covers west of Calhoun County to the Talladega, St. Clair, and Etowah County lines.

During today’s meeting, county employees and commissioners thanked Hudson for all that he’s done during his term. Hudson says he is pleased at how far along the district has come and will continue to go.

Former Commissioner Hudson chose not to run against former and longtime commissioner Eli Henderson who will be take over in November. Hudson also says that he will focus on being the Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Oxford for a few more years.
