Clothesline Project Honoring Domestic Violence Awareness Month at JSU

An event to bring awareness to students about domestic violence was brought to the campus of Jacksonville State University in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month.

The Clothesline Project allows people to decorate t-shirts with quotes or graphics in an effort to bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence. The shirts will then be hung on a clothesline using clothespin all throughout JSU’s campus for students to read for the remainder of the month.

Title IX Coordinator Jennifer Argo says she hopes this project display encourages people to take a stand against domestic violence. Argo encourages everyone to visit JSU’s campus to get a look at all the creative t-shirts made by students who are choosing to help put an end towards domestic violence.
