Pilot Club Makes Donation to Project Lifesaver

The Pilot Club of Gadsden presented a check to Project Lifesaver as a donation to purchase things like armband trackers to help locate people who are sick and lost. Project Lifesaver plays a huge partnership role with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office tracking people who suffer from alzheimer's, dementia, or autism when they happen to wander away from their caregiver.

According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Department, armband trackers has saved multiple lives and decreased the amount of time spent by deputies searching for those who have wandered away. Donations to the Project Lifesaver program can be made through the Etowah Sheriff’s Charities.
