The Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit along with the Gadsden Police Department and others obtained a search warrant for a home on Turrentine Street based on drug sales from the home. During the search warrant, two people were taken into custody on several charges.
According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Molly and Andrea Banks were both arrested after agents found 10 grams of methamphetamine, six grams of heroin, and a firearm inside their home. The Banks’ were each charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
Molly was booked inside the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on a $8,000 bond. Andrea remains in the detention center on a $13,000 bond.
