Families looking to get into the holiday spirit can stop by the Anniston Public Library and decorate holiday cards for children who are hospitalized. During the month of November, the Anniston Public Library will be participating in a nationwide event for children who will be in the hospital for the holidays.
The library supplies all the crafts needed to make a homemade card to help spread love and uplift kids around the country. The Head of the Young Adults Services, Abigail Hubbard says just taking a few minutes to make special cards for kids will give them so much positivity.
At the end of the month, the cards will be shipped to the Organization for Hospitalized Kids and from there, your cards will be sent all over America to help make a difference in a child’s life.
