Choccolocco Creek Watershed Conference

Friday, November 9, 2018

The Choccolocco Creek Watershed held its third annual Watershed Conference to educate nearby landowners and conservation workers to help protect and improve the creek’s water quality. A dozen guest speakers from around the state participated in this year’s conference to help people better understand that ultimately, everything you do affects the watershed.

Different strategies, conservation methods, and environmental issues were addressed at the conference in an effort to continue protecting, improving, and promoting the Choccolocco Creek Watershed. Co-chairman Jennifer Yates shares some of the information revealed during today’s conference meeting.
