A Gadsden man is behind bars after taking items from a home on Lay Springs Road. The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office reports that Andrew Eubanks stole three ladders, two five gallon buckets filled with brass and cooper along with copper A/C coils. Eubanks told investigators that he pawned the ladders and sold the brass and copper at a scrap yard.
The items were found and returned to the home. Eubanks is charged with third degree Burglary and first degree Theft of Property and is being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on a $7,500 bond.
