This year’s holiday travel is predicted to be the busiest it’s been in 13 years. With Thanksgiving just days away, Triple-A expects more than 50 million people traveling at least 50 miles or more away from home this year. That is a 5% jump from last year’s holiday travel numbers.
Travel times in the country’s most congested cities could be up to four times longer than normal that began increasing today. The absolute busiest day to travel this week will be the day before Thanksgiving. The least busiest day is predicted to be Thanksgiving Day.
