Thanksgiving is less than three days away and while many of you will be celebrating with family and loved ones, there are some who aren’t as fortunate. A local women’s boutique is asking for your help making a difference in one’s life during this holiday season. Frey's Boutique provides online and in-store shopping for women within the local area.
Every year, boutique owner Valerie Winfrey encourages shoppers and people throughout Calhoun County to bake or buy a pie and donate it to the Anniston Soup Bowl who will feed them to the homeless. This year, Winfrey has decided to take it a step further and gather necessary supplies for the less fortunate. Some of those items include everyday necessities that we may take for granted like toothbrushes, socks, gloves, blankets, and several food items.
Winfrey says she just has been inspired to try and make this season a little special for those who need it most. The Frey Boutique will be open from 10am until 5:30pm accepting drop off donations before and after Thanksgiving at their store located on 162 Industrial Boulevard Drive in Oxford.
