An altercation that took place at a shopping mall in Hoover turned violent, leaving one person dead and two others wounded. Now, the family of the man who was killed is demanding more information be released. It all happened inside the Riverchase Galleria on Thanksgiving night.
Emantic Bradford Junior was shot and killed by a police officer who saw that he was armed with a weapon and running from the scene of an altercation. The next day, authorities discovered that Bradford was not the person who fired the shots inside the mall that struck two people, one being an innocent 12-year-old girl. The initial gunman is still on the loose.
Since the shooting took place, protestors have gathered inside and outside of the mall demanding answers from local law enforcement. Bradford’s family has requested the responding officer’s body camera footage be released which was immediately handed over to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency who will be leading the investigation.
