Piedmont Prepares For Rematch With Randolph County (3A Semis)


The high school football semifinals are quickly approaching and there are several intriguing games on the slate. In the East Alabama Community, a pair of games will feature rematches. In Class 3A, Piedmont will host Randolph County in the second meeting this season. The Bulldogs are riding a seven game winning streak and find themselves back in the semifinals for the fourth consecutive season. The rematch is not only the second of 2018 and the fourth of the last two years. The Bulldogs and Tigers.

Last year Piedmont lost a heartbreaking one possession game in the semifinals (35-28) and the Tigers moved on to the state championship; but when asked if this game will serve as payback or revenge the answer is simple - no.
