Honda has issued yet another recall on more than 120,000 minivans worldwide due to the possibility of the sliding doors opening while the vans are moving. The issued recall covers 2018 and 19 Odyssey vans. The Associated Press reports that Honda says some parts inside the powered door stick, stopping the doors from fastening properly and securely. There have been no reports of injuries from this recall.
Honda Dealerships are repairing this issue free of charge while supplies lies. With there being limited parts currently available, Honda says owners have the option of driving the van and temporarily disabling the power sliding door. The door will then have to be opened and closed manually.
