Attorney General Steve Marshall has appointed a new Law Enforcement Coordinator to replace Chris Carden who retired from State Service in September. Chief Tommie Reese Senior is currently the Public Safety Director for the City of Demopolis.

Chief Reese has more than 30 years of varied law enforcement experience. The Law Enforcement Coordinator’s job is to work with other agencies across the state to develop training programs, notify officers of changes in criminal law and more.

Attorney General Marshall says he is pleased to have Chief Reese as his new liaison for the law enforcement community. Reese will begin work in the Attorney General’s Office in January.
