Piedmont Departs For Super 7 At Auburn


There’s only 14 high school football teams still alive this week and they are all heading to Auburn for the Super 7 Championships. TV24 Sports caught up with the Piedmont Bulldogs Wednesday morning as they packed up and loaded up the buses for the Plains. A festive crowd at both the High School and Elementary School on hand to bid them farewell. The Bulldogs will take on Flomaton in the Class 3A state title game tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. The Hurricanes enter the contest 11-3 with playoff wins over Montgomery Academy, Winfield, Pike County & Providence Christian. Piedmont is making their third trip to the title game in four seasons. (Hear from head coach Steve Smith in the featured video)
