A Way Out Day Program Coat Drive

Tuesday, December 11, 2018

A program that helps young ladies ages 16 to 24 who are coming from foster care, detention centers, and other facilities will be giving away free coats, hats gloves and other items to those in need. A Way Out Day Program has partnered with Kingdom Place Ministries to collect clothes and other necessary items for the winter months in an effort to give back to the community.

Other items that will be given out will be tissue, soap, toothpaste and food that was donated to the non-profit, A Way Out. The food and coat drive will be held this Saturday, December 15th beginning at 10 a.m. until supplies lasts. Director Claudia Elston says everyone is welcome.

Elston says she is looking forward to helping all that she can this coming weekend and is thankful to all who donated.
