Oxford's Clay Webb Commits To Georgia

For the better part of the last five years, Clay Webb has been at the top of recruiting boards and thought of as one of the best players in America. On Monday morning at Oxford High School, the 5-star prospect made his college decision official by committing to Georgia. Webb stands 6-4, 305lbs pounds and is ranked as the nation's No. 1 center and he is the overall top player in the state of Alabama. He ultimately chose the Bulldogs over Alabama, Auburn and Clemson.

Adding Webb to this class gives Georgia four ESPN 300 offensive linemen, with Webb joining tackles Xavier Truss, William Norton and Warren McClendon. The addition of Webb also gives Georgia 19 commitments and moves them up one spot in the 247Sports Team Class Rankings, passing Texas A&M.
