Five Cherokee County Residents Arrested on Multiple Charges

Two women and three men were arrested in Cherokee County after deputies executed a search warrant and found several ounces of methamphetamine, and a firearm inside a home on County Road 89.

Jammy White and Gerry Parker of Gaylesville were both charged with Drug Trafficking and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Darren Terry and Cynthia Battles also from Gaylesville, where charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia along with Latrisha Mobbs of Centre.

Battles and Mobbs were additional charged with second degree Promoting Prison Contraband after corrections officers found illegal drugs on them during their bookings.
