Oxford City Council Lays Plans to Improve Road Quality

Oxford City Council recently hired an engineering consultant firm to assess a road paving study with hopes of improving roads throughout the city. Oxford city’s engineer introduced Sain Associates to the council and proposed a plan to improve road quality over the next eight years. The city’s budget was also set at $1 million per year for road repairs.

The council wants to improve all roads that received a grade lower than 70 from Sain Associates during its assessment study. A timeline sheet for when the repairs will take place will be discussed at the next council meeting.
