Man Charged in Mall Shooting Asking for Lower Bond

Erron Brown has filed a request to lower his bond from 125,000 to $60,000. Brown is the man investigators believed opened fire inside the Riverchase Galleria on Thanksgiving that injured a 12 year-old girl and 18 year-old man. A responding officer shot and killed EJ Bradford, mistaking him for the initial shooter.

Brown’s lawyer argues that he has no felony convictions and would abide by an electronic monitoring system. Prosecutors have yet to respond to Brown’s request for a lower bond.
