Jacob Kelley Named New Cherokee Co. Head Coach


Jacob Kelley has been named the new football head coach at Cherokee County High School. Kelley replaces Tripp Curry who led the Warriors for 18 seasons and captured the 2009 Class 4A state championship. Kelley has served an an offensive coordinator and assistant coach at schools in Georgia including, Rockmart, Screven County, Washington-Wilkes and McIntosh Academy. He most recently served as OC at his alma mater Cedartown HS. Jacob is the son of Everett Kelley who served as an assistant at Piedmont and head coach at Cedartown.
