Saturday, January 12, 2019

The “Hands Free Law” could very well soon become law in the state of Alabama. According to WEIS Radio, a bill was recently filed that could ban holding a cellphone while driving. The bill proposes to make it illegal for the driver to physically hold or support an electronic device with any part of the person’s body.

Georgia is one of the 15 states that already enforce the “Hands Free Law.” The state of Georgia has reported to have seen a reduced number of accidents since the law took effect in July of last year.
