Centre Woman Found Guilty of 2015 Vehicular Homicide


Rebecca Price of Centre was sentenced to 12 months in Cherokee County for being under the influence of drugs when her Jeep collided head on with a vehicle driven by Lani Wilkerson-Hall back in 2015. Wilkerson-Hall died as a result from her injuries.

Price pleaded guilty to Criminally Negligent Homicide and has been ordered to serve 10 months behind bars before attending a residential treatment facility for the final two months according to WEIS Radio. She is then ordered to be on probation for two years.

Price will also have to pay court costs plus restitution in an amount to be determined during the restitution hearing on February 13th.
