It’s tax time, and a crew of IRS trained and certified volunteers are ready to help you with your taxes for free. Anyone with low to moderate income households are eligible for the Volunteer Tax Assistance Program provided by United Way of East Central Alabama.
If you make $66,000 or less a year in annual income, VITA will make sure you get all the tax credit you can to ensure you get the largest refund you deserve. President and CEO Shannon Jenkins says he’s honored to provide this service to the community.
