Former Department of Public Health Employee Convicted

According to Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, Crystal Fountain of Montgomery, pleaded guilty to first-degree Theft of Property. Fountain was an administrative assistant for the Alabama Department of Public Health for five years.

During that time, she stole more than $18,000 from the agency. Fountain was sentenced to two years’ probation to allow her to repay the entire amount along with all associated court costs and fees.
