The Anniston Museum of Natural History will be hosting its 39th Annual Black Heritage Festival this Saturday, February 16th, at the Longleaf Botanical Gardens. This year’s theme is Poetry, “The Pulse of a New Day.”
Children from Pre-K to high school will be participating in the oration competition. Vendors will also be in attendance selling books, jewelry, clothing, food, and more. Festival wristbands will also allow you to enter inside the Berman Museum and the Museum of Natural History. Shuttles will be available to transport people to and from the festival.
