Gadsden State Hosts Workshop Focused on Mental Health

Gadsden State Community College is constantly looking for better ways to help its students in all aspects of life. This month, Gadsden State decided to focus on mental health and student success. Earlier today, many students participated in the ‘Taking Care of Me Matters” workshop on the Wallace Drive Campus.

Dozens of Health Services agencies including Gadsden Regional Medical Center, Family Services, and more participated in the workshops. Information regarding counseling, legal services, and healthcare were at students’ fingertips. Director of Advertising, Dana Davis believes it is her mission to provide all the tools in order for students to succeed.

For students who missed this free workshop will have the opportunity to participate in the workshop this Thursday, on the Ayers Campus in Anniston from 11am until 1pm.
