Gentleman Classes at Piedmont Elementary School

The five week gentlemen’s teaching course for Piedmont Elementary fifth grade boys is almost over, and it’s safe to say that all the young men have learned valuable skills that will be with them forever. Over the course of five weeks, students learned how to properly tie a tie, shake hands, open doors for women, table manners, and more.

Men within the Piedmont community volunteered their time, and donated items to help teach the young men how to look presentable for future job interviews, dates, and more. Tommy Houck and Jarrett Bond attended the classes and are excited to continue to learn more in the near future. The fifth grade boys will finally get to show someone special everything they learned during a ceremony this Friday. Principal Stewart says because she’s received overwhelming support from the community, the gentlemen classes will be held regularly for students at Piedmont Elementary.
