Walmart Exceeds Expectations in Holiday Sales

Walmart blew past expectations during this past holiday season in sales. According to the retailer, in-store sales grew more than four-percent compared to last year’s sales. Online sales jumped more than 40%.

Holidays included Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Walmart says the reasons behind the sales jump were from its new grocery pickup and delivery programs which are now at the location in Jacksonville.
