Flooding isn’t the only issue residents are concerned about in Cherokee County. WEIS Radio reports that four people have been arrested for looting. Michael Wilhelm, Aaron Johnson, Alisha Zimmerman, and Andrea Evans, all from Georgia, have each been charged with fourth-degree Theft of Lost Property.

They were taken into custody Sunday after looting from flooded property at the Three Mile Campground area on County Road 31. Wilhelm, Johnson, Zimmerman, and Evans were each released on $500 bond.
