Threat Made to Principal of Sardis High School

Etowah County Schools Superintendent, Alan Cosby says the principal of Sardis High School received a threat towards the school late Friday afternoon. Although the email was sent anonymously, it was immediately shared with the school’s resource officer and Etowah County Sheriff’s Department.

 

As investigators are continuing to investigate this matter, deputies have made the safety of Sardis High their top priority. Extra security has been provided as needed in addition to other safety policies and procedures being set in place to ensure the safety of the students, faculty, and staff.
