Three Arrested on Drug Charges in Cherokee County


According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Eddy Hill and Genell Henderson of Centre and Kimberly Clemons of South Carolina, have each been charged with four counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Drug Paraphernalia, and marijuana.

Sheriff Jeff Shaver says the arrest occurred during a safety checkpoint on County Road 78 in the Mud Creek area, which is an area heavily hit by flooding. Hill and Clemons were released from the detention center on $11,000 bond each. Henderson’s bond has been set at $8,500.
