New Art Exhibit Opens at Gadsden State

A self taught artist and musician has opened an exhibit for everyone to enjoy. Tom Dameron became a full-time artist and musician after 50 years of practicing as a pharmacist. He creates art using items such as watercolors, pencil, stained glass, and much more.

Earlier today the self-taught artist spoke to art majors at Gadsden State Community College. Dameron says flowers are one of his favorite subjects because of their quiet beauty and peacefulness.

This exhibit located on Gadsden State’s Ayers Campus is free and open to the public Monday through Thursday from 8am until 7pm.
