Deadly Car Accident

An early morning car accident has claimed the life of a Heflin man. 27-year-old Remington Messer was driving a Chevrolet pickup when he collided with a Freight-liner.

The accident occurred on Highway 78 East, nine miles from Heflin. Messer was pronounced dead at the scene. State Troopers are working to determine the cause of this accident.
