Honda has issued a recall on some of its vehicles over airbag concerns. Takata airbags in 1.1 million Honda and Acura vehicles that were previously replaced could explode and hurl shrapnel if deployed.
The recall centers on model years ranging from 2001-2010 with the previously replaced airbags. Honda says at least one injury has been reported due to this issue. Anyone with the affected vehicles is encouraged to go to a Honda dealership to get the airbags replaced for free.
