Rome Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking in Cedar Bluff

56-year-old Elizabeth Mcilvaine of Rome has been booked into the Cherokee County Jail on Drug Trafficking, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A traffic stop was performed by Cedar Bluff Police because Mcilvaine’s vehicle was suspiciously located at the Dollar General on Highway 35 in Gaylesville.


According to WEIS Radio, officers discovered a quarter pound of methamphetamine inside her vehicle. Mcilvanie is being held on bond more than $75,000.
