Gadsden Woman Arrested for Chemical Endangerment in Two Counties
A woman has been arrested for Chemical Endangerment of a Child in two separate counties. 26-year-old Whitley Hester of Gadsden is currently in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond after her newborn child tested positive for illegal drugs.
Hester is also being detained by Etowah County for Failure to Appear in court in Calhoun County. According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Hester was also charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child.
