Former Anniston Bulldog boys basketball coach Schuessler Ware is one of the 11 new members of the AHSAA Hall of Fame. Ware led the Bulldogs for 19 seasons where his teams went 420-168. During that span the Bulldogs won two state championships (with three other trips to the state semifinals), eight Calhoun County championships, five region titles and 13 area titles. He was named Calhoun County Coach of the Year nine times and received State Coach of the Year honors in Class 4A and Class 5A. Ware dropped by the TV24 studios on Friday to discuss the upcoming induction ceremony and the unique pleasure of having success at his alma mater.

Ware will be inducted into the Alabama High School Sports Hall of Fame at its banquet set for Monday, March 18 at the Montgomery Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center.
