Butterball Ground Turkey Recall

39 tons Butterball Ground Turkey is being recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination. According to the US Centers for Disease Control, there have been six reported cases of illness due to salmonella linked to Butterball Ground Turkey. Fortunately, no deaths have been reported as of March 14th.

 

Food Safety Inspectors believe the prepackaged raw turkey suspected of salmonella was produced in July of 2018.
