JSU Hosts Spring Break Safety Event

Friday, March 22, 2019

It’s the Thursday before spring break for Jacksonville State University students. As many have already made vacation plans, the university police department wanted to help kick off spring break festivities while also sharing educational tips for the upcoming week.

University Police Officers took some time earlier today displaying their appreciation and support for students on campus. As refreshments were served, students were able to talk one-on-one with officers with questions or concerns they might have.

Safety tips on how to have a fun and safe spring break were also shared with students. Sarah Boger is a Forensic Investigations major at JSU who is glad she decided to come to the Campus Safety Day event. Boger says this is one of many reasons why JSU is known for being one of the friendliest campuses in the south.
