Cherokee County Man Sees Life in Prison After Kidnapping and Murder Charges


A Cherokee County man has been sentenced to life in prison for kidnapping and murder charges. Jeffery Wilcox entered a plea deal over the weekend for his involvement in a 2016 double murder and kidnapping.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Wilcox shot and killed Daniel and Letitia Andrews at their home on County Road 19. He then kidnapped his estranged wife and left the state before returning months later and getting arrested.

After Wilcox entered his plea on Capital Murder and Kidnapping charges, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
